2008 AAOMPT Annual Conference

The 14th Annual AAOMPT Conference will be held October 29-November 2, 2008 in Seattle, WA. 

The 2008 AAOMPT Annual Conference is the national conference where persons having a common interest in orthopedic manual physical therapy (OMPT) may meet, confer and promote research, practice, and patient care. AAOMPT will host the 2008 Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington highlighting advocacy for change in light of the practice act issues in Washington State.

The conference will take place in the beautiful Bell Harbor convention center where there will be waterfront views that will allow you to take in the atmosphere in the spectacular city of Seattle. The conference dates are 10/29 through 11/2. Keynote speakers David Butler, PT and Steven George, PT will be addressing different dimensions of the science behind pain management. In addition, keynote speaker, Richard Deyo, MD, will be discussing the evidence behind management of spine conditions and the alarming increase of invasive procedures of in the United States.

The conference hotel is at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront  hotel and will host some of our events. The hotel is across the street from the Bell Harbor Convention Center. Seattle Marriott Waterfront, 2100 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA, 98121. 

Hotel Reservations for the Event may be made with Marriott reservations at 1-800-455-8254 or directly with the Marriott Waterfront at (206) 443-5000.  The AAOMPT Special conference rate of $189 single/double, will  be available on a first come, first serve basis until October 7, 2008.  After October 7, 2008, conference hotel rates will be offered on a space available basis only.
