New $40,000 research grant for our member researchers!
The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural $40,000 Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Research Grant, generously supported by the AAOMPT Endowment Fund. This grant represents a flagship research funding mechanism supporting clinically impactful and methodologically rigorous orthopedic manual physical therapy research. Projects funded through this mechanism are expected to demonstrate a level of rigor, feasibility, and potential impact commensurate with the scope of the award and the mission of the AAOMPT and the Foundation.
Areas of study must align with at least one priority area of the APTA 2023 Research Agenda and applicants must be licensed PTs or PTAs and members of APTA and AAOMPT.
Guidelines and instructions will be made available on the Foundation website when the grant opens.
